Who we are
What we do
The Recycling Academy educates members of the public to safely dispose of batteries at their local recycling points and raising awareness about the disposing of batteries in your household waste can lead to the risk of serious injury, fires and explosions.
Making a change
The Academy is looking to highlight the importance of battery recycling globally. This will be done in a variety of ways through the use of images as we want to convey the message to as many people as possible. We are also in talks with some major battery manufactures both here and overseas about the issue.
HOW WE WILL RAISE AWARENESS
The Recycling Academy will be traveling up and down the county speaking to major battery manufacturers and councils about how we can raise awareness about household battery recycling.
